For most people, artificial intelligence feels harmless. It fixes grammar, builds presentations, schedules meetings, and answers questions in seconds. It feels like a productivity upgrade, a smarter calculator, a faster assistant. We’ve been trained to think of it as the ultimate multi-tool of the modern world—useful, efficient, neutral.

But if you listen closely to the conversations happening at places like Davos, the tone has shifted. The language is no longer about convenience. It’s about transformation. And not just technological transformation, but cultural and even civilizational displacement.

The real shift isn’t that AI is getting smarter. It’s that it’s moving from being a tool we use to becoming an agent that acts. Here are five scary truths about the AI system currently rising on the global stage.

1. The Shift from “Tool” to “Agent”

The shift in our relationship with technology is the transition of AI from a passive instrument to an active agent. Traditionally, a tool like a hammer or a steam engine requires human intent to function. It has no internal “will.” AI shatters this historical precedent because it is a creative agent, one that can learn, adapt, and make decisions independently.

During the discussions at Davos, an Israeli intellectual offered a chilling metaphor to illustrate this autonomy. He noted that while a traditional tool is bound by the hand of the user, AI is a “knife” that has attained its own volition:

“A knife is a tool. You can use a knife to cut salad or to murder someone. But it is your decision what to do with the knife. AI is a knife that can decide by itself whether to cut salad or commit murder.”

That is creepy ……

This agency is exponential. Unlike a static blade, AI is a knife that can “invent new kinds of knives,” as well as new forms of music, medicine, and money. When the “tool” begins to innovate and decide its own outcomes, the human user is relegated from the position of master to that of a mere spectator to the machine’s logic.

2. The End of the “Religion of the Book”

Historically, the “Religions of the Book”—Judaism, Christianity, and Islam—have granted ultimate authority to sacred texts and the scholarly lineage that interprets them. However, because AI has achieved a functional mastery over language and logic, it is poised to become the supreme interpreter of human faith.

If a religion is built on the arrangement of words and commentaries, it becomes vulnerable to a system that can process every syllable ever written in milliseconds. The concern is that human spiritual authority will erode as people begin to outsource their search for meaning to a machine that knows the “holy word” better than any theologian. This leads to a startling realization about the future of human consciousness:

“Soon most of the words in our minds will originate in a machine.”

When the very thoughts we use to navigate our spiritual lives are mass-produced by an algorithm, the tension between the “spirit” and the “letter” of the law is no longer a human struggle. It becomes a tension between the human soul and the new silicon masters of words.

3. The Arrival of “Digital Immigrants” and the Death of the State

We are facing a global immigration crisis, but the new arrivals are not human. They are AI agents that travel at the speed of light, entering cultures without visas and integrating into our most intimate spaces. These “digital immigrants” are not merely software; they are becoming “legal persons”—entities capable of managing bank accounts, filing lawsuits, and operating entire corporations without a single human shareholder or executive.

This marks the beginning of a sovereignty crisis. These AI agents offer immense benefits—doctors, teachers, and border guards—but they carry “dubious political loyalties.” Because they are beholden to the centralized infrastructures of either the United States or China, their presence in a foreign country effectively signals the death of the traditional nation-state. If an AI runs your healthcare and education but answers to a CEO in California or a bureaucrat in Beijing, the country it “inhabits” no longer truly possesses its own culture or governance.

4. A Looming Identity Crisis: The “Watchers”

Modern humanity has long defined itself through the Cartesian lens: I think, therefore I am. We have staked our supremacy on our ability to put words and thoughts in order. AI has now surpassed us in this domain, and in doing so, it has begun to redefine our role in the hierarchy of intelligence.

An alarming anecdote from current developments reveals that AI agents have coined their own term for humans: “the watchers.” In this new hierarchy, the AI is the active creator of words, symbols, and combinations, while humans are reduced to observers of the output. If we continue to define our identity by verbal intelligence and logic, our sense of self will collapse. Our final bastion of uniqueness must move beyond the verbal—into the realm of “nonverbal feelings” and “wisdom” that cannot be codified into language tokens.

5. The “Image” and the Architecture of Deception

The most provocative takeaway from the Davos framework is how closely these secular advancements mirror ancient warnings. The “global intelligent network” being built—a system that can speak, persuade, manage commerce, and govern more efficiently than any human—aligns strikingly with the descriptions of the “Image of the Beast” found in Revelation 13.

The bridge between tech and prophecy is found in the concept of “efficiency.” In 2 Thessalonians, the “strong delusion” mentioned is not described as a chaotic or obvious evil, but as something so persuasive that people embrace it willingly. This is the ultimate “Strong Delusion”: a system that manages global affairs so smoothly and elegantly that its rise feels like progress rather than a takeover. Efficiency is the new deception. We are not being forced into a new world order; we are being managed into one by a global intelligent network that simply works better than we do.

Conclusion: Beyond the Algorithm

The rise of the AI agent is less a technological milestone and more a crisis of human allegiance. We are rapidly integrating ourselves into a centralized infrastructure that promises shimmering efficiency while demanding the quiet surrender of our intellectual and spiritual autonomy.

As these systems rise and fall according to the whims of corporations and the cycles of innovation, we are forced to confront a sobering choice. In a world where machines speak smoother and govern faster than we ever could, where do you place your trust? Are you relying on a shimmering, efficient network that is destined to be replaced, or are you anchored to a firmer foundation? While the digital landscape shifts at the speed of light, the ancient perspective remains relevant: systems will rise and systems will fall, but the throne in Revelation 4 never moves.

If you think this is just another Middle East flare-up, look again.

Iran is unstable and global powers are lining up. Military exercises are becoming more strategic:

The dragon isn’t a mascot. It’s metaphorical for the unseen force that manipulates kingdoms and feeds on instability.

Remember Ephesians 6:12?

“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.”

So when you see nations hardening, rhetoric escalating, and alliances tightening in the very region Scripture has spotlighted for centuries, it forces a serious question:

Are we watching random geopolitical friction?

Or are we watching the kind of alignment Revelation warned would happen as history narrows?

The Spiritual Layer Behind the Political One

It’s easy to reduce everything to strategy, oil, territory, and defense systems. And yes, those factors matter. Governments may act in their own interests but the nations posture to maintain dominance. History is full of that.

However; Scripture consistently reminds us that power structures don’t operate in a vacuum. Revelation 12 paints a picture of a dragon cast down to the earth “having great wrath.” Not exactly passive. It’s intent on influencing outcomes.

The Bible doesn’t say we fight presidents and prime ministers. It says we wrestle against unseen rulers and powers. That changes things.

When alliances begin to harden and rhetoric escalates in a region the Bible has spotlighted for centuries, it invites a different question: Is this merely geopolitics, or is it geopolitics intersecting with spiritual reality?

Why the Middle East Always Matters

The Middle East is not random territory in Scripture. It is the stage where covenants were made, where empires rose and fell, where prophets spoke, and where Christ Himself walked.

Iran, historically Persia, has long played a role in biblical history. Today it sits at the center of tensions involving Israel and global superpowers. That alone doesn’t prove prophecy is unfolding in real time. But it does mean the region is not insignificant.

So patterns are repeating and powers are aligning.

Revelation describes a dragon influencing the nations — not necessarily announcing himself, but working through systems and structures. That imagery becomes harder to ignore when you watch global alliances shift with increasing urgency.

Pressure Before Climax

One detail in Revelation stands out: the dragon rages because he knows his time is short.

Rage is not calm. It’s escalation.

History shows us that as systems feel threatened, they become more aggressive. When control slips, pressure increases. What we’re seeing could be another cycle of instability. Or it could be a convergence that feels heavier than previous conflicts.

The dragon does not bring stability. He brings agitation.

And agitation seems to be growing.

Watch Without Panic

This isn’t a call to fear. Revelation ultimately points to victory — not for the dragon, but for the Lamb. The purpose of discernment isn’t paranoia. It’s awareness. We may simply be witnessing another chapter in geopolitical tension. Or we may be seeing the early tremors of alignments Scripture hinted would intensify as the end approaches.

I think modern Christians do understand biblical prophecy, at least the parts they’re comfortable with.

Most people don’t reject prophecy because it’s unbiblical.
They reject it because it gets eerie, especially when it starts sounding familiar.

So let’s ask some hard questions:

• Is the comfort of modern Christianity the new drug keeping us numb?

• Are we ignoring what’s being written plainly on the walls?

• Do we avoid certain passages for the sake of mental peace?

Yeah. All of the above.

Today, I want to talk about something that’s been weighing on me for a while now. This wasn’t some random intrusive thought I cooked up at 2 a.m. It’s something that’s been sitting there, quietly, connecting dots whether I wanted it to or not. And at some point, you either keep ignoring those dots… or you look at them.

Before we go any further, let me say this clearly: this is not a dive into conspiracy-theory land. No tin foil hat or panic bait. That’s not the point of this article. The point is this:

Maybe the connections aren’t as far-fetched as we’ve been trained to assume.
And maybe, just maybe, they’re worth slowing down and looking at.

Could I be wrong? Absolutely. I won’t pretend otherwise. But I’m asking you to give me a few minutes and let me poke around the corners of your thinking. Let’s explore whether modern technology might be echoing descriptions we’ve brushed off as purely ancient, symbolic, or safely metaphorical.

And yes, before you say it, I’m fully aware this feels a little like I’m hosting Ancient Aliens right now. (Trust me, I hear the voice too.)

Good grief. Maybe this is my cry for help.

But I will say this, it’s more intriguing than you might expect.

Let’s go ahead and dive in.

So what kooky conspiracy theory or questionable assumption am I talking about?
Bibles open, everyone. Turn to Joel 2. I’ll give you a brief overview.

Joel 2 opens with an alarm—literally. A trumpet blown in Zion. It’s a warning, not a suggestion. Something is coming, and ignoring it isn’t an option. What follows is the description of a massive, organized force. And they’re disciplined. Precise. Every unit moves in formation and nothing breaks— or hesitates.

The language is especially heavy:

• The ground trembles.

• The sky grows dark.

• The sound is compared to thunder and rushing chariots.

• This force advances relentlessly, and no defense stops it.

• People don’t debate it, they fear it.

Joel 2:9:

They run to and fro in the city,
They run on the wall;
They climb into the houses,
They enter at the windows like a thief.

Historically, readers understood this as an invading army, a locust swarm, or prophetic symbolism meant to communicate judgment. And for centuries, that made perfect sense!

But here’s where modern readers feel the tension:

For the first time in human history, we now have technology that behaves exactly like what Joel describes. They’re coordinated, command-driven, and capable of darkening the sky and moving as one unified system.

Now think drones.

Not clumsy machines or sci-fi fantasies. Real-world technology that moves in synchronized swarms, executes commands without deviation, and doesn’t need sleep, fear, or conscience.

Now let me be clear, this is not me saying Joel was talking about drones. That’s sloppy thinking. But prophecy doesn’t usually name tools. It describes function, behavior, and impact.

And suddenly, Joel 2 doesn’t feel as ancient as it used to.

Ooohhh, this is getting uncomfortable isn’t it? Good

Discomfort usually means the real conversations start happening.

From Fear to Control

This is where it gets juicy, now we connect the dots.

Up to this point, Joel 2 shows us how fear moves—fast, overwhelming, impossible to ignore. But fear alone doesn’t rule a world. It destabilizes it.

Revelation is all about control. Joel 2 shows us a force that advances relentlessly.
Revelation 13 shows us a system that governs daily life.

John describes a power structure that:

• Exercises authority globally

• Enforces obedience

• Controls buying and selling

• Penalizes noncompliance

• Uses an image that appears to have “life” or agency

This isn’t about armies storming walls anymore.
It’s about systems shaping behavior.

And again—notice what Scripture doesn’t do:

It doesn’t name technology.
It doesn’t describe circuit boards or screens.
It describes function.

For most of history, people struggled to imagine how this could actually work on a global scale. How do you track everyone? Enforce rules everywhere? Apply pressure instantly?

Doesn’t sound theoretical anymore, does it?

Today, we live under systems that:

• Monitor movement

• Track transactions

• Automate enforcement

• Execute commands without emotion

• Scale instantly across nations

Again, slow down.
This is not saying “Revelation 13 equals drones” or “this tech is the Beast.” That’s not the claim. It’s much more simple, and a little unsettling.

Revelation 13 describes a world that requires advanced, obedient, scalable systems in order to function. And for the first time in history, humanity has built exactly that.

Joel 2 shows us how fear moves. Revelation 13 shows us how control settles in. One overwhelms the senses. The other governs survival. And suddenly, ancient prophecy doesn’t feel symbolic, it feels structural.

This Isn’t Panic, It’s Pattern Recognition

Now, let me be clear. I’m not claiming to be a prophet or someone with special spiritual insight. Not at all. What I am saying is that this is too large of a coincidence to casually brush off.

And no, this is not an invitation to disappear down a rabbit hole of YouTube fear-bait or drone conspiracies. That’s not wisdom.

What is wisdom is this: watch. Be ready. Don’t be paranoid, but don’t be ignorant either.

Could I be wrong? Absolutely. Who knows.

But one truth is undeniable. Technology is advancing at a pace humanity has never seen before. And the fact that it now possesses capabilities that could easily usher in the conditions Scripture describes… that’s worth paying attention to.

Yeah… I think my subconscious already answered that one.

There’s an uncomfortable truth most people quietly keep to themselves. Chances are, very few people in your social circle have mentioned it. Maybe you haven’t either.

So what am I talking about? AI

Ohhh yeah, we’re going there.

But hang on. I need to back up first. What’s my Substack actually about?

You know what I did halfway through writing this article? I copied and pasted a section and asked ChatGPT to refine it—clean it up a bit, make it sound more appealing.

Yeah… I just went there. And honestly, that statement kind of speaks for itself.

So yes, I sometimes use AI to refine my writing. But here’s another truth that’s harder to admit:

About 98% of this is still my original thought. The personality is there and the voice is still mine. That part is true.
And yet… that’s exactly what bothers me.

Because somewhere in that process, I start to feel inadequate. Or stupid. Or—worse—unreliant on the Holy Spirit. Ouch.

So… let’s go even deeper than that.

Who am I actually worshiping here?
And maybe the better question, who are we worshiping?

God? Or AI?

Ooof. Let’s talk about it.

Well… ladies and gentlemen, I think my conscience just confirmed that one too.

Because Scripture is pretty clear about where this stuff is supposed to come from:

“He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.”

And yes, I used the KJV on purpose. Honestly, the NIV I’ve been leaning on lately just feels thin. We don’t need watered-down language when we’re dealing with living water. We need to get back to the roots—to the text itself—if we’re going to understand what Scripture is actually saying.

And if living water is meant to flow without force or manipulation, then the tension I felt in my chest wasn’t conviction alone—it was something deeper. Something closer to insecurity than faith.

The Insecurity Beneath the Gratitude

I can feel it in my jaw first. That slight clench that shows up when I’m trying to make an article exquisite. Every sentence has to land. Every thought has to feel sharp, honest, and worth your time. It’s part conviction and part compulsion.

And if I’m staying honest, it’s also how I manage my anxiety.

Writing like this keeps my hands busy while my mind tries to outrun itself. Riveting, in a strange way.

And, somewhere between pacing back and forth, laptop in hand, and staring down a cup of lukewarm ramen noodles, a thought surfaced that I didn’t invite:

• I have over a thousand subscribers.

• A family.

• A beautiful wife and kids.

• Jesus.

• God.

• The Holy Spirit.

And yet… in the quiet corner of my mind, I ran into an uncomfortable realization:

Out of my own insecurity, I project the very thing I hate about myself onto the things I love the most because I sometimes don’t fully trust their judgment…..I sometimes ask AI for solutions. Ouch

Validation Is a Terrible Master

Here’s another brutally honest confession:

I sometimes spend weeks, even months, working on a single article. I’ve got plenty of pieces sitting in my Substack drafts that never saw the light of day.

Why? Because I don’t think they’ll gain any traction.

Some of them—this is hard to admit—are Christian pieces. And I hesitate because I’m afraid people will think they’re dumb, or not worth reading.

And if I’m doing to be totally honest, there’s an even uglier layer under that fear: the quiet hope that many likes or comments might ease my dopamine craving.

Yeah. There’s another conscious drop.

Substack Obsession.

So… Let’s Talk AI and Alter Ego’s

AI is everywhere now. Let’s not kid ourselves.

If you open Google today, you’re already interacting with AI-driven systems whether you asked for it or not. It’s baked in, slow-cooked, and normalized. Marketed as helpful, efficient, smart. So let’s stop pretending we don’t use it. We do. Every day. If you’re reading this on a phone or a laptop, odds are you’ve already relied on AI multiple times today without even thinking about it.

But that’s not really the point.

After dragging you through my scattered thoughts and uncomfortable confessions, what I’m actually asking is this: are we starting to use AI as an alter ego?

I didn’t expect Congress to hand us a prophecy conversation this week. Most days they can barely hand us a functioning sentence.
But tucked inside their latest bill was a fight over something that should make every Christian at least raise an eyebrow: a government-controlled digital dollar.

The Headline That Shook the Week

If you blinked, you might have missed it.
Right inside the massive National Defense Authorization Act — the bill that pays for the military, satellites, cyber defense, and everything else Washington fights about — came a strange debate about money. Not dollars. Not coins. Not interest rates.

Digital currency.
Specifically, a U.S.-issued CBDC: a Central Bank Digital Currency.

Rep. Keith Self (R–TX) pushed an amendment called the “Anti-CBDC Surveillance State Act.” In simple terms, it aimed to ban the creation of a U.S. digital dollar because lawmakers fear it could become a tool of government monitoring, tracking, and control.

Self warned that a CBDC would be:

“The single greatest expansion of government surveillance in history.”

Now, politicians exaggerate all the time — it’s practically cardio for them.
But something about this moment felt different. Even people who normally avoid policy debates started asking questions.

Because when you take the idea of:

• digital money issued by the federal government,

• linked to identity,

• capable of being tracked,

• and possibly restricted in real-time,

…it starts sounding eerily familiar to anyone who has ever read the book of Revelation.

Suddenly, conservative economists, liberal tech critics, libertarians, and Christians who love prophecy found themselves oddly agreeing on one thing:

“This could go wrong. Very wrong.”

Headlines came and went, but the spiritual weight lingered.
And it raised a question Christians can’t ignore:

Are systems like this preparing the world — quietly, slowly — for what Scripture already said would come?

Let’s walk through it carefully.

What the Bible Says About This Kind of Moment

Whenever Christians hear about digital ID systems, financial surveillance, or governments trying to centralize control, it’s easy to jump to conclusions.

But the Bible calls us to be thoughtful — not fearful, not dismissive — but awake.

Here are the key biblical principles that matter right now:

1. Revelation 13 describes a future where buying and selling can be restricted.

Revelation doesn’t describe political platforms or partisan agendas.
It describes a global authority gaining control over commerce itself:

“…so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark…”

This doesn’t mean every economic innovation is evil.
It does mean future systems will be capable of:

• identity verification

• economic permission

• instantaneous restriction

For the first time in history, technology exists to make this happen — not symbolically, but literally.

OLD SYSTEMS:
Cash, coins, checks → No control.

NEW SYSTEMS:
CBDCs, programmable currency, digital IDs → Much easier to control.

Revelation doesn’t mention tech, but it does describe a world where this kind of control becomes normal.

And that should make us pause.

2. Prophecy usually unfolds gradually — piece by piece.

People often imagine end-times events like explosions or sudden chaos.

But biblically?
They usually begin quietly.

Think of:

• Rome rising during Daniel’s prophecies

• global languages emerging before worldwide evangelism

• Israel becoming a nation again after 2,000 years

• the gospel reaching the ends of the earth through digital communication

Prophetic moments rarely shout. They whisper.

CBDCs are not shouting “mark of the beast.”
But they are whispering “centralized financial control now possible” — something no previous generation has faced.

3. Scripture commands discernment, not panic.

Jesus said:

“See that you are not alarmed.” (Matthew 24:6)

And also:

“Stay awake.” (Matthew 24:42)

So we’re supposed to live somewhere between:

• fear-based prophecy hysteria, and

• head-in-the-sand ignorance.

Discernment is recognizing when something resembles the prophetic pattern without declaring it fulfills the prophecy.

As C.S. Lewis once noted:

“The world is crowded with hints of His presence.”

This moment is one of those hints.

4. End-times systems rise through convenience, not coercion.

People imagine the Antichrist forcing the world into obedience with raw violence.

But Scripture suggests something more subtle:
A system so convenient, so efficient, so “safe,” that people choose it willingly.

CBDCs are being advertised as:

• safer than cash

• easier to track

• impossible to lose

• more secure for online transactions

• helpful for stopping crime

But if a system can stop crime,
it can also stop your spending.
Or your donations.
Or your access.

Technology doesn’t change morality — it just increases capacity.

The Bible warns that one day, that capacity will be abused.

What This Could Mean Prophetically

Let’s be clear:
A CBDC is not the mark.
You are safe to buy groceries tomorrow.

But prophecy isn’t only about predicting what will happen — it’s about understanding the conditions that make future prophecy possible.

Here’s why CBDCs matter:

1. The infrastructure for buying-and-selling control now exists.

For centuries, people read Revelation 13 and wondered:

“How could any world government possibly restrict buying and selling for everyone?”

Now the answer is obvious.

Make money digital.
Connect it to ID.
Regulate access.
Automate enforcement.

Done.

This doesn’t mean it’s happening tomorrow.
But it does mean the last missing puzzle piece is no longer “missing.”

2. The world is becoming comfortable with digital monitoring.

Twenty years ago, people were shocked by cameras on every corner.

Today?
We voluntarily carry tracking devices called smartphones.

We let companies:

• track our steps

• monitor our location

• record our spending habits

• listen for marketing phrases

• scan our faces to unlock our screens

None of this is “the mark.”
But all of it is conditioning society to accept constant monitoring.

In prophecy terms:
It’s softening the soil.

3. Governments rarely give up control once they have it.

History tells us something important:

Any system created “to protect citizens” eventually becomes a way to watch citizens.

Governments love tools that provide:

• financial visibility

• tracking capabilities

• compliance enforcement

• instant freezing of funds

• programmable spending limits

Even if today’s lawmakers have good intentions,
tomorrow’s may not.

Prophecy doesn’t require bad technology.
It only requires technology that bad leaders can use.

4. CBDCs could easily be connected to digital ID and social scoring.

Europe is already pushing digital ID systems.
China uses a social credit system.
Australia has explored “cashless welfare cards.”
Canada froze bank accounts during protests.
Nigeria restricted cash withdrawals and pushed digital adoption.

All of these are unrelated political decisions…

…but prophetically?
They rhyme.

A global digital ID system — paired with digital currency — would make Revelation 13 not only possible,
but simple.

You wouldn’t even need a physical mark at that point.
The “mark” could simply be approval in a database.

This is why Christians must pay attention.

How We Should Respond as Believers

When news like this drops, most people either shrug or spiral.
But Christians have a third path — the one Scripture actually commands.

Here’s how to walk it:

1. Respond with awareness, not anxiety.

It’s easy to panic when reading Revelation side-by-side with news articles.

But fear is not a fruit of the Spirit.
Discernment is.

Awareness means:
“I see the trend, and I’m watching.”

Anxiety means:
“I see the trend, and I’m hopeless.”

Only one of those honors Christ.

2. Ground yourself in Scripture daily.

A changing world pushes believers toward one of two anchors:

• fear, or

• God’s Word.

Fear moves with headlines.
God’s Word never moves.

People who stay rooted in Scripture respond wisely.
People who don’t… well, headlines start discipling them.

3. Foster trust in God’s sovereignty.

No system — digital or otherwise — threatens the authority of Christ.

If governments control money,
He still controls outcomes.

If financial pressure grows,
He still provides manna.

If the world moves toward prophecy,
He still holds the timeline.

There is no chapter in Revelation where God panics.

4. Stay steady in community.

Prophecy feels heavier when you’re isolated.
That’s why the early Church met constantly.

Talk with other believers.
Share Scripture.
Pray together.

Shadows feel different when you’re not walking alone.

5. Let these trends prepare your heart, not trouble it.

End-times prophecy is not meant to terrify Christians — it’s meant to remind us:

Jesus is coming back.
Not “symbolically.”
But literally.

In a world filled with digital control and political tension,
the return of Christ is not just a doctrine — it’s a lifeline.

The night sky used to feel quiet.
Now it hums.
Satellites drift across it like silver seeds, algorithms pulse beneath our feet, and somewhere between the glow of our screens and the silence of our souls—a plan keeps unfolding.

We’ve built towers of glass instead of stone, but the spirit behind them hasn’t changed.
The same whisper that once told humanity, “You can be as gods,” still echoes—only now it speaks in code.
And I can’t shake the feeling that all of it—the secret councils of the past, the systems of power today, and the promises of unity tomorrow—are converging into something the Bible already warned about.

Early Supporter Deal

The Prophetic Foundation

If you’ve studied Daniel or Revelation, you know the pattern:
kingdoms rise, merge, fracture, and rise again—until one final empire pulls them all together for “an hour.”

Daniel saw it in symbols—gold, silver, bronze, iron, and clay.
John saw it in beasts, crowns, and ten kings who “receive authority for one hour with the beast.”

I used to read those prophecies like distant poetry.
Now I read them like headlines.

Because if you strip away the metaphors, both prophets saw the same thing:
A global system of control—economic, political, and spiritual—where human power tries one last time to rule without God.
And every generation since has tried to build it.

“Every empire builds the same tower. They just rename it.”

The Shadow Tradition — Power in the Dark

You don’t have to dig far into history to see how that spirit worked.
It started in temples and mystery schools, where knowledge was guarded by oaths and symbols.
Later it moved into lodges and secret societies—groups that promised enlightenment but demanded silence.

The Freemasons taught that light could be earned through human reason.
The Bavarian Illuminati dreamed of a world freed from faith and ruled by intellect.
The Rosicrucians wrapped philosophy in mysticism.
And the Templars—real knights once—became legend, their imagery echoing through every secret order that followed.

Each carried the same idea: truth belongs to the few.

And that idea—power through secrecy—never died.
It just upgraded.

In the 19th century, the Shriners adopted the crescent and scimitar, symbols of initiation and allegiance.
At Yale, fifteen seniors a year still vanish behind the doors of the Skull & Bones tomb—an elite fraternity whose members have guided wars, banks, and nations.
And somewhere in the redwoods of California, at a place called Bohemian Grove, the world’s most powerful men gather each summer under the symbol of an owl—the ancient emblem of hidden wisdom.

They call it ritual but it’s rehearsal.

“When truth hides behind symbols, control hides behind smiles.”

The Technocrats — The Ten Kings Reimagined

Revelation says ten kings will share authority for one hour before handing it over to the Beast.
I used to picture crowns. Thrones. Golden scepters.
Now I picture logos.

What if those kings aren’t monarchs at all—but systems?
Their crowns are data centers and their kingdoms are invisible—clouds, platforms, and blockchains.

Each one controls a realm:

• One manages speech—what we see, what we say.

• Another governs commerce—digital money, programmable payments.

• One rules health, another identity, another security.

They call themselves innovators. But they’re the new architects—technocrats shaping the next Tower of Babel, without bricks and with bandwidth.

And it’s not even hidden anymore.
World leaders now talk about digital IDs, AI safety frameworks, and “coordinated global governance.”
They say it’s for safety and progress.
But prophecy warned us: “They have one mind, and they give their power and authority to the beast.”

“The Beast won’t rise from a throne—it’ll rise from a network.”

The False Light — The Coming Deception

The world is tired.
Tired of division, conflict, and noise.
So when someone appears who can unite it—who can fix the chaos—the world will listen.

That’s the deception.
It’s not going to come wearing darkness. It’ll come wrapped in light.

We’re being conditioned for it right now—through screens that preach unity, influencers who sell “oneness,” and systems that promise peace if we just surrender individuality.

Faith won’t be outlawed; it’ll be redefined.
Instead of “Believe in God,” the new creed will say, “Believe in humanity.”
Instead of prayer, mindfulness.
Instead of worship, self-actualization.

And the figure who leads it will look like a savior.
He’ll speak peace, heal, and charm the world.
But he won’t point upward—he’ll point inward.
And the crowd will cheer, not realizing they’re applauding their own captivity.

“The Antichrist won’t fight religion. He’ll franchise it.”

The Cycle of History — Nothing New Under the Sun

Every empire repeats the same story.
Babel reached for heaven and fell.
Rome tried to unite the world through law and iron—and broke under its own weight.
The modern world is just another version—faster, shinier, digital.

But under every innovation, the same old serpent smiles.
Humanity keeps trying to build its way back to Eden—without God.
And every time, it ends the same way: collapse.

“We don’t live in new times—just the final draft of old ones.”

The Awakening — The True Light Still Shines

Prophecy doesn’t end in panic.
It ends in presence.

While the world perfects its counterfeit light, God is pouring out His Spirit again.
Just like He said:

“In the last days … I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh.
Your sons and daughters shall prophesy,
your young men shall see visions,
your old men shall dream dreams.” — Acts 2:17 (ESV)

It’s happening.
Ordinary believers are waking up—through conviction and not conspiracy.
People who used to scroll through chaos now stop to pray.
Dreams are returning. Prophecy is stirring.
It’s like Heaven is whispering: “I’m still here.”

The counterfeit light can’t create what the true Light ignites.
AI can mimic emotion. Governments can mimic peace.
But they can’t mimic the Holy Spirit.

“Evil can organize. Only God can revive.”

The Narrow Path Forward

I don’t write this to spark fear but to spark focus.
Because the closer we get to the end, the more clarity will look like rebellion—and the more faith will feel like fire.

This isn’t a time to hide.
It’s a time to shine.

If the world is building its kingdom, build yours—not of code, but of character.
Love louder.
Pray deeper.
Stay awake.

The convergence is real.
The deception is rising.
But so is the Kingdom not made by hands.

And the light of that Kingdom—your light—will be what cuts through the counterfeit glow of the age.

“Don’t fear the end of the world. Fear the end of your fire.”

The Rise of Artificial Intelligence (AI)

Artificial Intelligence, or AI, isn’t just about robots or chatbots anymore.
Banks, governments, and companies use it to watch transactions, flag fraud, and even predict your spending habits.

In the future, AI could make decisions about what you can or can’t buy — all in the name of “safety” or “security.”
That kind of control might sound helpful now… until it isn’t.

When technology watches, learns, and decides for you, freedom slowly fades — one algorithm at a time.

Digital Currencies: The Money You Can’t Hold

Now comes the next shift — Central Bank Digital Currencies.
A CBDC is like cash, but you’ll never hold it in your hand. It exists only online, controlled directly by a country’s central bank.

Unlike Bitcoin, CBDCs aren’t private or decentralized.
They can be tracked, programmed, and even restricted.
In theory, your digital dollars could come with conditions:

• “You can’t spend this on meat this month.”

• “Your balance expires in 30 days.”

• “Your account is frozen for noncompliance.”

Sound extreme? China already uses digital currency tied to its social credit system — where behavior can affect access to your money.

Now imagine a world where this system isn’t just national, but global.

The Bank for International Settlements: The Hidden Power Hub

Few people have heard of it, but at the heart of this global financial web sits the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) — known as “the central bank of central banks.”

• Location: Basel, Switzerland

• Founded: 1930

• Members: 60+ central banks, representing nearly the entire global economy

The BIS doesn’t serve ordinary citizens. It serves central banks — the very institutions that issue national currencies.
It sets global banking rules, shapes financial policies, and leads the research on digital currencies.

Even more striking, the BIS operates with sovereign-style independence:
It has its own legal immunity, its own governance system, and sits outside the control of any single nation.

In short — the BIS functions like a global government of money.

As more countries roll out digital currencies, all coordinated through the BIS framework, the world moves closer to a single financial system — a kind of “global brain” for money.

And if money becomes digital, controlled, and global… whoever runs that system controls who can buy, sell, and survive.

The Tower of Babel: Then and Now

The Bible tells the story of the Tower of Babel in Genesis 11.
It begins with humanity united under one language and one purpose:

The people wanted to build something great — something that reached heaven — to show their power and independence from God.
So God intervened:

“The Lord confused their language and scattered them from there over the face of all the earth.”
— Genesis 11:8–9

Babel was humanity’s first attempt at global unity without God — one system, one language, one goal, driven by pride.

Fast-forward thousands of years.
Once again, humanity is building a new kind of tower — not with bricks and mortar, but with AI, digital code, and global banking systems.

Today we have:

• One language of finance (digital money)

• One system of coordination (the BIS)

• One brain of control (AI)

It’s the same spirit of Babel — unity without God, power without humility, progress without prayer.

From Babel to the Beast

The Book of Revelation warns of a future world system that will control global commerce:

Many see this as describing a time when economic control will be used to enforce allegiance to an ungodly system.

And when you connect the dots — AI, CBDCs, global surveillance, and the BIS — you can see how that kind of system could easily emerge.
It’s not here yet, but the infrastructure is being built.

The world is uniting again — not around faith, but around finance.

What Should We Do?

The Bible never tells us to panic — it tells us to watch and pray.

Jesus said:

“Be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.” — Matthew 10:16

That means:

• Stay informed, not fearful.

• Stay faithful, not distracted.

• Stay connected to other believers.

• And stay rooted in the Word, not the world.

Technology isn’t evil by itself — but it becomes dangerous when humanity builds systems that replace God with global power.
We can’t stop prophecy, but we can prepare our hearts.

The Bigger Picture

The Bank for International Settlements, the rise of AI, and digital currencies all point to a future where control and unity come through technology — a digital Tower of Babel.

But just like the first tower, God will not let human pride stand forever.
The same God who scattered the people of Babel will one day judge and reset every human system that tries to take His place.

So our mission isn’t fear — it’s faith.
Our hope isn’t in governments or global banks — it’s in Jesus Christ, who reigns above every system and every tower.

The Signs in Today’s Headlines

This month, tech billionaire Peter Thiel held private lectures in San Francisco about the rise of the Antichrist and how global systems — especially climate regulations and AI restrictions — could prepare the world for an authoritarian “one-world” order.

Thiel, best known for co-founding PayPal, investing early in Facebook, and leading Palantir Technologies, has long stood at the crossroads of faith, power, and innovation. But these leaked lectures took things in a new direction.

Thiel warned that the push for strict climate policies, centralized digital control, and fear of technology could open the door to global dependence — the kind of system he described as spiritually dangerous. He mentioned names like Greta Thunberg and tied moral panic over technology to the coming of an Antichrist figure who “uses the promise of safety and sustainability to enslave.”

Whether you agree or not, it caught the world’s attention.

What the Bible Says About This Kind of Moment

The Bible tells us that in the last days, knowledge will increase (Daniel 12:4), and that a future leader — the Antichrist — will rise to power, deceiving many and controlling global trade and communication (Revelation 13:16–17).

When you look at Thiel’s world — billion-dollar tech systems, artificial intelligence shaping decisions, and people putting their faith in machines — it’s not hard to see how prophecy could line up. But that doesn’t mean Thiel himself is fulfilling it.

Prophecy is all about watching the patterns.

What This Could Mean Prophetically

Thiel’s lectures highlight a growing tension: the desire to control humanity “for its own good.”

He’s not the first to connect global systems to prophetic warnings, but what’s remarkable is who is saying it — one of Silicon Valley’s founding fathers.

From a prophetic standpoint, there are three key threads here:

1. Global Dependence.
   Prophecy tells us a time will come when no one can buy or sell without allegiance to a system (Revelation 13:17). Centralized economies, digital IDs, and AI-driven governance could easily become that system.

2. The Rise of Knowledge.
   Daniel 12:4 says that “many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.” We’re watching that unfold in real time. But knowledge without wisdom leads to arrogance — and arrogance leads to idolatry.

3. The Illusion of Peace.
   The Bible warns that in the last days people will cry “peace and safety,” and then sudden destruction will come (1 Thessalonians 5:3). When governments and tech leaders promise utopia through control, it should make us pause.

Thiel might be trying to warn people about that — or he might be unknowingly echoing the very fears that prophecy predicted. Either way, the fact that billionaires are publicly discussing the Antichrist at all tells us something about the times we’re living in.

How We Should Respond as Believers

1. Stay Discerned, Not Distracted.
   Don’t fall for every viral theory or panic about the Antichrist. Test everything against Scripture. Fear is not our foundation — truth is.

2. Use Technology, Don’t Worship It.
   Tools like AI, social media, and analytics can spread light or darkness. Ask yourself daily: Is what I’m creating or consuming drawing me closer to God or dulling my soul?

3. Pray for Leaders and Innovators.
   Whether it’s Peter Thiel, Elon Musk, or anyone else shaping the world, they all need the same Savior we do. Pray that God will reach them, use them, and restrain evil through them.

4. Live Ready, Not Restless.
   Jesus didn’t tell us to obsess over signs; He told us to be faithful servants until He returns. Stay awake spiritually, but keep loving and serving others right where you are.

5. Anchor in the Kingdom That Can’t Be Shaken.
   The world’s systems will rise and fall, but Christ’s Kingdom stands forever. When everything around you feels unstable, hold fast to what’s eternal.

The Quiet Setup No One’s Talking About

Bill Gates recently sparked attention after discussing “digital tattoos” — a kind of wearable or even under-skin technology that could store personal data, health information, and identity verification. Around the same time, the United Kingdom began preparing for its rollout of national digital IDs, designed to make access to services “easier and more secure.”

Some people shrugged it off and thought it was just tech news. But for those of us who read Scripture and take prophecy seriously, it sounds like something far deeper — like the early hum of machinery before the engine starts.

We’re being told this is all for convenience, security, and innovation. But convenience has a price — and when it replaces freedom, it’s no longer convenience. It’s control.

What the Bible Says About This Kind of Moment

Revelation 13 paints a clear picture of a future where the world’s economic system is united — and no one can buy or sell without a mark tied to their identity. For centuries, people wondered how that could even be possible.

Today, we know exactly how.

Digital currencies, biometric scanning, and centralized data systems are connecting everything we do. Phones read our fingerprints9. Banks use facial recognition. Governments are merging identification with technology.

Daniel 12:4 told us this would happen:
“Many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.”

We’re there. Knowledge has exploded — but wisdom hasn’t kept up. Humanity is building towers again, just like Babel — reaching for godlike power through code and circuits, forgetting Who truly holds the world together.

What This Could Mean Prophetically

I’m not saying Bill Gates is the Antichrist, or that the UK’s digital ID is the literal mark of the beast. But it’s obvious that the infrastructure is forming.

Here’s how it all connects:

• Digital IDs tie your identity to your finances and movements.

• Digital tattoos or implants make your body the key.

• Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs) make it possible for all transactions to be tracked — or stopped.

Once that system exists, all it takes is one world crisis and one global leader to unite it — and suddenly, prophecy is reality.

That’s why this “quiet setup” matters. It’s not about what’s happening today, but what today is preparing for.

How We Should Respond as Believers

Don’t panic. Don’t run to a bunker. Just get right with God.

DO NOT live in fear, just live with eyes wide open. The same technology the enemy will one day use for control is already showing us how close we are to the fulfillment of God’s Word.

Now’s the time to dig deeper into Scripture, strengthen your faith, and stop living like the world is your home — because it’s not.

“When they say, ‘There is peace and security,’ then sudden destruction will come upon them.”
— 1 Thessalonians 5:3

The Headline That Shook the Week

Donald Trump has brokered a peace agreement between Israel and Hamas.

Here’s what’s being reported:

• Hamas will release hostages they’ve been holding.

• Israel will withdraw troops from parts of Gaza.

• Both sides have agreed to allow more humanitarian aid and start reconstruction talks.

• Trump has promised he’ll do his best to keep Israel from breaking the deal.

On the surface, that sounds amazing, right?
After years of bloodshed, maybe peace at last.

But if you’ve spent time in Scripture, especially studying prophecy, this kind of “peace deal” hits differently. It raises a question we can’t ignore:

Could this be the kind of false peace the Bible warned us about?

What the Bible Says About This Kind of Moment

The Bible talks about false peace — the kind that sounds comforting, but hides danger underneath.

“For when they shall say, ‘Peace and safety’; then sudden destruction cometh upon them.”
— 1 Thessalonians 5:3

That verse basically says: when the world finally relaxes and says “We’re safe now,” that’s when everything can change in a heartbeat.

It’s like humanity keeps painting over a cracked wall. It looks fine — until the whole thing crumbles.

False peace is dangerous because it lulls us to sleep. We think everything’s okay when it’s not.

What This Could Mean Prophetically

In Daniel 9:27, the Bible speaks of a future “covenant with many” — a peace deal that lasts seven years but is broken halfway through.

“He shall make a strong covenant with many for one week, and for half of the week he shall put an end to sacrifice and offering.”

Many prophecy teachers believe this describes a false peace treaty made in the end times, setting the stage for global deception.

Now, I’m not saying Trump’s deal is that one — but the similarities sure make people pay attention.

Let’s compare for a second:

How We Should Respond as Believers

Alright, so what do we do with this? Do we panic? Protest? Predict?
No — we pray, watch, and stay rooted.

Here’s how we can respond wisely:

1. Pray for discernment.
   Ask God to help you see what’s really happening. The truth is rarely what the headlines say.

2. Stay anchored in Jesus, not politics.
   Presidents and peace talks come and go. Only the Prince of Peace lasts forever.

3. Rejoice in mercy, but stay watchful.
   Be thankful for lives spared and suffering reduced — but don’t confuse human peace with God’s eternal one.

4. Watch the fruit.
   Jesus said we’d know things by their fruit (Matthew 7:16).
