I am glad you posted this, it reveals the failure of the Corporate church system which was never actually founded on the Foundation of Jesus Christ, nor has it followed the Holy Spirit inspired word Paul wrote on HOW the Body of Christ is too function. The Lord taught anything NOT planted upon the Rock of Jesus Christ, but on the sand, when the storm comes it would NOT stand, and it certainly did not stand. it was washed away.
You were correct they failed.....it was a test.
I can honestly state, that on Dec 31st, 2019, I was heavily burdened, and wrote in my Daily Journal that I felt the LORD was impressing upon me, that in the New Year of 2020 that something was was coming which would bring fear & chaos amongst the massess. Then in February 2020 is when I first started to hear the reports on the so-called "virus", and the main-stream news reports starting to come in, then the panic started, just as the LORD instructed me would occur.
This reveals that when persons are close to the LORD and separated from the "world" His Word states HE would protect His sheep from those who desire to do us harm. And that can come in dreams or prophecies, or a direct Word from the Spirit. If those gifts are not present, then the "church" system failed.
