I can relate to a lot of this! I started my life very similar with the drugs and parties. All I wanted was to be high, drinking and chasing women. Kicked out of school and home at 16. Then I began my working career. I didn’t have time for the parties as much began to straighten out some. Which was good because If I’d got caught with drugs again it was jail time for sure. I met a Christian girl at 18 who would be a solid influence on my life. I still didn’t truly return to Christ, my life was better but not devoted to emulating Christs teachings. Except by the grace of God, I could have very easily been the cause of loss of lives in my youth many times! It was while my mother was dying from cancer that I truly returned to Christ. Through her passing she made it her mission to see me born again or return to the flock. I had an NDE 5 yrs ago that completely changed my perception of the afterlife and Christ. What I witnessed and remains in my mind after I regained consciousness ensures my belief in Christ and his teachings. 🙏 brother we soldier on.
