Mark’s Weekly Heat Map
I’ve been working on something new this week…..
I call it Mark’s Weekly Heat Map, and it’s a simple way to look at a biblical word and actually feel what’s happening in the story — not just read it.
The first one is about agapē, the word Jesus used when He asked Peter,
“Do you love Me?”
Most of us read that like Jesus was just repeating Himself.
But He wasn’t.
There was a whole conversation happening underneath the surface…
and a lot of emotion that never makes it into the English translation.
I built a heat map to show it —
from the human level (“Do you even like Me?”)
to the struggle (“Where our love hits its limit”)
to the love Jesus was inviting Peter into (“God’s self-giving love”).
I laid it all out visually
And its a moment of restoration.
Soooo I want to start doing this every week.
A fresh word, breakdown, and simple visual that helps Scripture sink in deeper.
